The REIQ Sales Masterclass will be facilitated by REIQ Board Director and Industry expert Peter Camphin, considered to be an industry expert when it comes to developing professional relationships and networking for success.
Peter has been in the property industry for over 45 years and has experience in all aspects of agency practice and franchise development. His career commenced in 1976 in Sydney's eastern suburbs in property management, and he established his first office at the age of 26 on Sydney's North Shore. Changing direction in 1992, Peter moved from franchisee to franchisor, joining the Ray White Group as CEO in Victoria. In 1994 Peter moved to Auckland, where for the next several years, he led the Ray White group in New Zealand. On his return to Australia in 1997, Peter accepted the role of CEO of Ray White Queensland and held the position until 2015.
During that year, an opportunity was presented to Peter to join a finance brokering business, Loan Market Queensland, which he held for the next three years. Peters' role was to develop the relationship between our franchise companies, the integration of adjacent services offered by Ray White and Loan Market.
Having truly worked across all facets of the sector, Peter believes the key to a successful business is having the right people in your team together with strong leadership. Peter is always seeking new ways to improve the performance of the business he is working with, providing a better value experience for the teams and clients.

Students must hold a Real Estate Registration or Full Licence to enrol into this program.
Students will require:
- A computer to access online learning materials and a laptop to bring to the face-to-face delivery to access the course resources throughout the program.
The REIQ Sales Masterclasshas not only been designed and written by industry experts, but will also be delivered by industry specialists, providing students with the ability to expand their knowledge (both practical and legislative) gained from the minimum requirements for registration, offering new Sales Agents confidence in the workplace.
The program will include a practical hands-on, two-day delivery, with an additional six-month access to a specialised online program, allowing for ongoing development and student support.
Students are required to bring a charged laptop to access resources during the program, with access to the online content being provided one week prior to the commencement, allowing them to familiarise themselves with the platform and program.

- Your Sales Career - covering understanding the industry, Job description & characteristics of a great sales agent and the career path of a real estate salesperson.
- Where to start - covering selecting your agency, key elements of a real estate business, understanding your market and the drivers, personal Profile and marketing and the real estate decision process.
- Becoming their Agent before they need one - Covering finding future clients- prospecting activities, building databases and relationships, client communication and value of geographic data.
- What's next? Why me? - Presentations- preparation and structure, Methods of sale, making recommendations and Handling objections/concerns- building trust
- Your obligation to your clients – Covering vendor service programs- what vendors want, Effective Buyer qualification, and Driving inspections and generating offers. How to achieve this.

REIQ is really good, specially I come across the coach Kellie Blanch. I had issue for uploading all the pdf documents of my relearning and videos, she uploaded all the works and replied my email with patience and efficiency. I want to say big thanks to the coach Kellie. Also the study system of REIQ is really easy to use and resources in the website is very useful and wide range.

The course facilitator, Rob Honeycombe was great. He used plenty of real-life experiences and real-world examples to help ground the course in reality. The course work was a little challenging at times but I managed to work through it all fine - support is always available for those who need it and I found Jeff Irvine from REIQ Student Support to be both helpful and encouraging. You are given 6 months to complete the assessments however, I managed to complete the course work in a little over 6 weeks. This was while working so would likely be shorter for those who are studying the course full time. In summary, I had a great experience all 'round and I can't wait to get started in my new real estate career! Thanks, REIQ!
