THE REIQ  is celebrating its centennial birthday this year and to honour the milestone is hosting the biggest conference in its history, Summit 2018, also securing the biggest name in real estate to deliver the keynote, Brad Inman.

REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said it was an incredible win to have Mr Inman speak at Summit.

“This is the first time Brad Inman has visited Australia and he’ll be speaking on the REIQ Summit stage, sharing the latest in global real estate trends, and teaching us how to be at the leading edge of innovation,” Ms Mercorella said. “This is an amazing coup,” she said.

Mr Inman is the founder of one of the world’s most successful real estate conferences, Inman Connect, which is hosted twice a year in the US and attracts more than 4000 people to each conference. It is well recognised for its technology flavour and spotting new innovations

Inman News is also the world’s leading source of international real estate news.

Ms Mercorella said the two-day conference was an opportunity for all real estate practitioners to take the next step in their career by learning new skills and connecting with peers in an energising, motivational context.

“This Summit is going to be the biggest we’ve ever hosted and it will be something no real estate professional will want to miss,” she said.

“Our hand-picked speakers and mentors will share their vast knowledge and insights into the real estate profession with all attendees, ensuring every audience member comes away inspired, educated and ready for the next step,” she said.

National treasure and leading demographer Bernard Salt will share his vision of the real estate market in Queensland for the next 30 years.

“Bernard is well known to all for his insightful commentary on our real estate markets and for anyone who is trying to see where the market is headed so they can be ahead of it – which should be all of us – this will be a not-to-be-missed opportunity,” Ms Mercorella said.

Other keynote speakers include Mia Freedman, who will be commiserating with all that there is no such thing as work-life balance, but rather, as we lurch from one catastrophe to the next, the best we can hope for is work-strife balance.

REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said the value delivered for the low cost of the ticket price was extraordinary.

“Any of these speakers on their own would command a big ticket price, but to deliver all of these speakers in one event for one low price, is fantastic value for attendees,” she said.

Tickets are selling fast and are available at REIQSummit.com.au.
